Analyze the development history of tempered glass: The development history of tempered glass:

The development of tempered glass dates back to the mid-17th century. There was a King of Rhine called Robert. He had an interesting experiment. He put a drop of molten glass in cold water and made a kind of Extremely hard glass. This high-strength granular glass is like a water drop, with a long, curved tail, called "Prince Robert Little". However, when the tail of the small grain is bent and broken, it is surprising that the entire small particle suddenly collapses suddenly and even becomes a fine powder.

The above method is much like the quenching of metal, which is the quenching of glass. This quenching does not cause any change in the composition of the glass, so it is also called physical quenching, so the tempered glass is called tempered glass.

In the 1930s, Saint-Gobain of France, Tripolix of the United States, and Pilkington of the United Kingdom began to produce large-area flat tempered glass for use in windshield. Japan also carried out tempered glass industrial production in the 1930s. From this world, the era of large-scale production of tempered glass began.

After 1970, the British company Triplex succeeded in tempering glass with a thickness of 0.75~1.5mm in liquid medium, ending the history of physical tempering and not tempering thin glass, which is a major breakthrough in tempered glass technology.

The history of China's tempered glass was first introduced in 1955. Shanghai Yaohua Glass Factory began trial production. In 1958, the Qinhuangdao tempered glass factory was successfully trial-produced. In 1965, Qinhuangdao Yaohua Glass Factory began to produce tempered glass for military industry. In the 1970s, Luoyang Glass Factory first introduced Belgian tempering equipment. In the same period, Shenyang Glass Factory chemical tempered glass was put into production.

In the 1970s, tempered glass technology was widely promoted and popularized around the world. Tempered glass began to be used in the fields of automobile, construction, aviation, electronics, etc., especially in construction and automobile.
